John J. Votovich, 88, of Coal Center, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
He was born on July 24, 1935 in Greensburg, son of the late Frank and Mary Tuma Votovich.
John was a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church of Brownsville. He retired from Second National Bank in Brownsville, as the manager, after 34 years in the retail banking business.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Andria M. Gaskey Votovich; three children: LTC John Votovich and wife, Gina, Michael Votovich and wife, Lesa, and Elizabeth and husband, Michael; two granddaughters: Catherine and Alexandria; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was private for his immediate family. A Divine Liturgy was held at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Christopher Burke as Celebrant. Interment was held in LaFayette Memorial Park.
