Marlene Labin, 71 of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 in Point Marion at the home of her friend and caregiver, Marley McHugh, with her family and friends by her side.
She was born Thursday, February 21, 1952 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Eugene and Florence McCort Cabin.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Beverly Patterson and Mary Lou Nelson.
Marlene is survived by her two sons, Zach Labin and Lisa Tignor of Charleston, and Tyler Labin of Morgantown; three sisters, Brenda Gall and husband Rocky of Safety Harbor, Fla., Dianna Williams and husband Don of Uniontown, and Carol Cottrell and husband Jerry of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Marley McHugh for her friendship and the loving care she provided Marlene during her illness.
In honoring Marlene’s wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are in the care of the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion.
