Smithfield

In the early hours of Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Joseph Lynn “Joey” St. Clair, of Smithfield, went home to be with his Lord and his beautiful boy, Trenton.

Joey was born May 24, 1986, in Morgantown, W.Va.

He was a kind man who loved everyone no matter the battles he dealt with in life.

Joey was met in Heaven by not only his son, Trenton St. Clair, but also his grandmother and grandfather, Edna and Herbert St. Clair; his grandma, Zona Wolfe; several aunts and uncles, cousins and a few close friends.

Joey left behind his youngest son, Clayton St. Clair and Clayton’s mother, Alexis Lake; his mother, Sharon Smitley (Roger Lincoln); father, Charles St. Clair; brothers, Donnie Smitley (Andrea), Chad St. Clair, Mike St. Clair (Kimmy), Josh St. Clair (Shashouna); his sister, Sara St. Clair; and his soul sister, Aimee Wolfe. Also surviving are his loving girlfriend, Jessica Shaffer; his grandfather, Joseph Leroy Wolfe (Mary); his aunts and uncles; many cousins, nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and the many people who got the chance to know his love.

A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., when a Time of Remembrance will be held, Monday, January 22, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, with Pastor Kevin Leadbeater officiating.
