Patricia Ann Newman, 71, of Uniontown, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, in her home, with loving family by her side. She was born August 8, 1952, in Uniontown.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Floyd and Ruth Ann Myers Fowler; her husband, Larry Wayne Newman; a grandson, Corey Stites; and four siblings, Floyd, Robert, Linda Sue Fowler and Susie Ellard.
Patty had attended Spirit and Fire Church and loved reading her Bible. She was a very loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed baking, old TV shows and was kind to everyone she met.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen Cogar (Dave), Amy Newman (Billy), and Melissa Newman, all of Uniontown; an honorary son, Nathaniel Stites; six grandchildren, Cody Stites, Tyler Cogar, Todd and Owen Kelly, Austin Cogar and Xander Adams; along with two great-grandchildren, Aleah and Kyrie; and six siblings, Sandra Fowler, Debra Torres (Miguel), Nancy Fowler, Bruce Fowler, Walter Fowler, and Gloria Jean Bosley.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the time of services, Wednesday, January 24, in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., with Pastor Joann Abel officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
