Jack Russell Provance, 89, of Fairmont, W.Va., formerly of Uniontown, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born December 5, 1934, in Point Marion.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Theron D. Provance and Ruth G. Haney Provance; and three siblings, Theron Provance, Betty Provance and Dorothy McFarland.
Jack was a very loving husband, father, pap and uncle, who was an avid reader and a gifted carpenter. He also enjoyed gardening.
He was a veteran, having served honorably in the United States Army.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Dotty “Missy” Hugus Provance; his daughter, Heather Lea Rollins (Clark) of Fairmont, W.Va.; son, Jack R. Provance, II (Josie) of Austin, Texas; and grandchildren, Trinity Love Rollins and Adair Grace Rollins.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, January 25, in SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown. Interment will be private.
