Andrew “Bean” Vesnesky, 76, of Allison, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, with his family by his side.
Andrew was a son of the late Steve and Rose Vesnesky.
Andrew proudly served with the United States Army and will receive military honors at his service.
In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, Jessie Sandra Hager Vesnesky, he is also survived by his two daughters, Debra Franks and husband Charles, Andrea Christner and husband Ray; and five grandchildren, Samantha Franks, Carly Franks, Alyssa Christner, CJ Franks and Sydney Christner.
Andrew is also survived by his sisters, MaryAnn Moriarty, Margaret Rutherford, Elizabeth Staso, and Irene Reposky.
Andrew was preceded in death by his siblings, Leroy Redman, Gladys Schantz, Steve Vesnesy, Jr., Rose Neun, John Vesnesky and George Vesnesky.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, where visitation will continue until 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, when a funeral service will be held, with the Rev. Michael Peton officiating. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park, with full military rites accorded by American Legion Posts 940, 275 and 838.
