Janice Lynn Holly Smiley, 62, of Hopwood, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, following a brief illness.
Janice was a loving, generous and kind person who always enjoyed helping others.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald K. Smiley; her parents, Charles and Bertha “Sue” Holly; a nephew, Christopher Holly; a niece, Jenny Minerd; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her brother, Tom and Jackie Holly of Hopwood; two sisters, Barb and Rick Minerd of Lemont Furnace, Anna Marie and Dan Dulik of Rostraver Township, her “adopted sister”, Debbie and Don Mack of Smock; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and dear friend, Hilda Garletts. She is also survived by her precious dog, Bonnie.
Friends will be received at BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, and from 9 to 11a.m., the hour of service, on Wednesday, March 6, with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
