George W. Haller, 89, of Vanderbilt, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, in Penn Highlands Connellsville. A son of the late George J. and Mary E. King Haller, he was born February 28, 1935, in Sandrock.

George was a lifelong resident of Vanderbilt and was self-employed as a fire and restoration contractor.

George served in the U.S. Air Force, peacetime.

He is survived by his son, Scott Haller of Belle Vernon; stepsons, Eric (Barbara) Dawson of Rostraver Township, Jeff Dawson of Belle Vernon, and Bill Dawson of Monessen; and a brother, Rick (Marie) Haller of Vanderbilt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna L. Haller, July 21, 2020.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300.
