Charles E. “Putso” Pillar, Jr., 64, of Uniontown, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024. He was the son of the late Charles E. Pillar, Sr. and Mary Ann Harmon.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Chris L. Pillar; his daughter, Samantha (Ethan) Brown; his son, Charles “Chad” Pillar III; brothers, Jim Pillar (Patti) and Gary Pillar; and a brother from another mother, Mark Uhazie; his mother, Mary Ann Harmon; and mother-in-law, Linda Lehman. He is also survived by Patty and Jeff Pillar; and several nieces, nephews and family members. He also will be missed by his dogs, Ellie and Apollo; and his grand-dogs, Colt, Kimber and Iggy.

In addition to his father, Chuck was predeceased by his father-in-law, Roger Lehman; and several aunts and uncles.

Chuck retired from the Aviation Industry. He was an avid history buff and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Lemont Sportsman Club, Fairbank Gun Club and Hutchinson Sportsmen Club.

Chuck was deeply devoted to his family and close friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends will be received at the GATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY LLC., 136 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown PA 15401, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday March 25, where funeral services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday March 26. Interment to follow Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Lemont Sportsman Club toward the children fund.
