Dolores Ann Markulik, 86, of Carmichaels, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.

She was born December 18, 1937 in Edenborn, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of the late Frank S. and Ann M. Hranec Lescar.

Mrs. Markulik was a member of the St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh and the Catholic Daughters of America serving as past treasurer. In addition, she was a member of Cumberland American Legion Post 400 Women’s Auxiliary and the Carmichaels Senior Center where she served as past treasurer.

Mrs. Markulik worked as an executive assistant for Glidden/ ICI Paints in Cleveland, Ohio and retired in 2005. She enjoyed flower gardening, volunteering in the community, going to dinner with family and friends, traveling, playing electronic games and Facebooking. Mrs. Markulik cherished her family especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

On September 1, 1956, she married Bernard A. Markulik, who died July 3, 2006.

Surviving are sons, Jeffrey F. Markulik (Mark) of Atlantic Beach, Fla. and David W. Markulik (Christine) of Parma, Ohio; daughters, Sharon L. Centner (David) of Medina, Ohio and Bernadette Emilio of Uniontown; 10 grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Steve), Sarabeth (Joe), Krystle (Anthony), Christopher (Megan), Matthew (Liz), David, Alicia, Brittany (David), Shannon (Brian) and Zachary; 23 great- grandchildren; a brother, Bernard Lescar of Mentor, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Ann Markulik in 2021.

Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich, F. D./Owner, Aaron S. Walker, F. D., 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels, Pa. where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, followed at 11:00 a.m. by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Matthias Parish at St. Hugh, Carmichaels. Interment will follow at Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
