Brian Keith Roby, 64, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born July 6, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Thomas K. Roby and Jacqueline “Jaci” Lee Cunningham Roby.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Roby.
Brian graduated from Laurel Highlands High School with the Class of 1978. He worked for many years in maintenance at West Virginia University.
Brian was an avid WVU sports fan and Steeler fan.
Left to cherish Brian’s memory are his sister, Jill Moore of Cape Coral, Fla.; and brothers, Bruce Roby of Hopwood, and Brent Roby of Morgantown; his stepchildren, Nathan, Jamie and Amanda; several step- grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 16. Visitation will continue in the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of a service celebrating Brian’s life, Thursday, October 17, with Dr. Mac Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
