It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Michael “Fester” Conner announce his passing. On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Doug lost his long battle with addiction.

Doug was born March 15, 1975, a son of Terence D. and Diane Shultz Conner of Uniontown.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Karen (Dale) Plaski of Uniontown; brother, Terence D. “Tod” (Dian) Conner II of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother-in-law, Barry Wood; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Gretchen C. Wood.

Doug graduated from Uniontown Area High School and California University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in counseling and a Master’s degree in Family Counseling. He worked as a wraparound counselor.

Doug loved his family and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., the time of a service, Thursday, October 17, in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown.
