Irwin Samuel Glasser

Irwin “Irv” Samuel Glasser, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at the age of 92. Born September 14th, 1932, in Pittsburgh, Irv was a son of Maurice and Libby Glasser of Uniontown.
Irv leaves behind Gloria, his beloved wife of 67 years; daughter, Jody (husband Andrew); son, Larry; granddaughter, Melissa (husband Justin); great- granddaughter, Abigail; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Irv was predeceased by brothers, Melvin, Robert and Jay.
Irv met Gloria under a volleyball net at the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center in 1956 and they were wed May 19, 1957.
Irv was a fun-loving gentleman, well respected, and greatly loved by all who knew him.
Irv’s funeral was held September 29 at Lakeside Memorial Park in Miami, Fla.
