Mrs. Paula J. Karem, 77, of McClellandtown, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born October 26, 1947, in Brownsville, to the late Paul and Margarie Geekie Garred.
She graduated from Mt. St. Macrina School, Class of 1965.
Paula married Eugene R. Karem September 23, 1969. He preceded her in death March 6, 2021.
She is survived by three sons, Jack and Wendy Karem, Chris and Raquel Karem, and Geno and Christa Karem; three grandchildren, Cody Bart, Alexus Karem, and Briana Karem; 12 siblings, Betsy and Joe Sibal, Kathy and Ed Verbus, Greg and Linda Garred, Gene and Dawn Garred, Susan and George Kostelnik, Connie and Alan Early, Paddy and Jamie Cossick, Mary Ellen and Tom Nalevanko, Christine and Bob Phelan, Michael and Vicky Garred, Laura Myers, and Sally and John Masterbray; and a brother-in-law, Ed and Lisa Karem.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 31 at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
