Michael A. Miske Jr., 41, of California, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 27, 2024, with his family by his side.
He was born October 4, 1983, in Uniontown, the only son to the late Michael A. Miske, Sr. and Donna Burrie Miske.
Michael proudly served our country with the United States Marine Corps during the global war on terrorism “Operation Enduring Freedom.” His specialty was logistics/embarkation and combat service support specialist.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Cecilia Brown (Darnelle) of Brownsville , Tiffany Findley (David) of California, and Christina Sanders of Morgantown, W.Va.; nephews, Braylen and Asher Findley. He leaves behind his special uncles, Thomas Miske (Connie) of Tower Hill #2, Steven Miske (Kitty) of Tower Hill #2, and Jospeh Miske (Marianne) of Brookpark, Ohio. Also, he leaves behind his aunts, Beverly James (Bernard) of Leckrone, and Dorothy Murray of Salem, Ohio; along with a host of cousins and friends.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Friday, November 1, in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, with the Rev. Amory Merriman officiating.
Interment, with full military honors, will follow in Highland Cemetery.
