Davis R. Hall, III, 67, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in the Canterbury Place Nursing Home in Pittsburgh.
Davis was born March 31, 1957, in Mount Pleasant, to the late Davis R. Hall, Jr. and the late Edna Hall-Melvin.
In addition to his parents, Davis was predeceased by his sisters, Edna Brown, Betty Hall, Eva and Evaline Hall.
Davis was a graduate of Uniontown Area High School, where he was a standout athlete and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022.
He worked as bouncer in numerous locations and worked for ACI for 15 years as a foreman. He had a special love the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Davis is survived by his children, Davis R. Hall, IV of Fairchance, and Christina Hall of Monongahela; grandchildren, Travon and Jalen Hall of Fairchance; longtime significant other, Charlene Wilson of Mount Pleasant; siblings, Linda, Jamie, Celeste, Edward, William, Dale, Gerald and Isaac; a special niece, Laressa Brown; stepdaughters, Catherine Grant and Jamie Drake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, November 1, in the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown.
