Pauline Ann “Polly” Diamond, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 19, 1941, in Uniontown, to Frank and Eva Brajdic, Polly was one of 13 children.

She is survived by her twin sister, Roseanna Miller; her older sister, Betty Lou Vensko; and her brothers, Tommy and Richie Brajdic.

On August 11, 1962, Polly married Alvin Louis Diamond of Smithfield, and together they shared 60 years of marriage until his passing in 2022.

Polly embraced farm life with energy and joy, whether working with animals, driving tractors, or her favorite – mowing the grass.

She leaves behind her sons, Louie (Gail), Paul (Beverly), Joe (BettyLynn), and Douglas (Acela); and 10 treasured grandchildren, Rachel, Jesse, Luke, Katie, Emily (Jeff), Trudy, Alexandra, Felisha, Zacharias, and Hope. Known lovingly as “Grandma,” Polly welcomed all who came to her home with warmth and kindness.

Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in the Bernard Townsend Funeral Home, Masontown. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 2, in Fairview Church of the Brethren, with viewing at 10 until the service at 11 a.m.
