John Patrick Moran, 77, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, in his home, with his loving daughters by his side. He was born January 2, 1948, in Triadelphia, W.Va., a son of John Oscar and Helen Cottle O’Tuel Moran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Ann Roby Moran; and sister, Carol Moran Graves.
He unapologetically lived his life his way. He proudly served his country as sergeant in U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam.
He worked at Hunter Truck for over 20 years.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and football (West Virginia Mountaineers and the Pittsburgh Steelers).

John is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Ann Tatum and husband Ronnie of Fort Worth, Texas, and Michelle Lee Harper and husband James of Fairmont, W.Va.; grandchildren, Johnathan and partner Adriana, Cassandra and Ashelynne Tatum and Brennan, Kaden and Riley Harper; three great- grandchildren, Alexander, Sophia and Sullivan Tatum; and many nieces and nephews.
John’s family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, in the GOLDSBORO-FABRY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 21 E. Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of his funeral service, Thursday, December 4. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier, Hill.
