Uniontown

Linda Gay Grim McDuffie, 63, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 30, 2025, in her home, with loving family by her side. She was born January 8, 1962, in Uniontown.

Preceding her in death were her husband, William McDuffie; and parents, Roger Wade Grim and Ina Dell Tharpe Teets.

Linda was a member of Uniontown Church of the Brethren. She spent much of her life as a caregiver to others, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Santo Piccolomini (Emily), and Mario Piccolomini (Kayla), both of Uniontown; five grandchildren, Damian, Catalina, Sicily, Mia and Callie; her loving companion and friend, Alex Horvath; and five siblings: Debra Hackney (Bill) of LaPorte, Ind.; Roger Grim of Uniontown; and Charles Teets (Olga), Joey Teets (Spencer), and James Teets (Peggy), all of Virginia.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 2, in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, where visitation continues until Monday, February 3, until 11a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Edwin Moore officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
