Earl Franklin Marker

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Earl Franklin Marker, 84, of Farmington, Thursday, January 30, 2025.
He was born August 22, 1940, in Farmington, a son of the late Jesse and Martha Kunkel Marker.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by brothers, Glendell “Mack”, Elmer, Wilmer, George, John, and Albert Marker; sisters, Alice Alatalo, Dorothy Shimko; and infant sisters, Thelma and Aleta.
Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Angela Navarro; son, Jeffrey Marker; grandson, Cash Marker; siblings, James (Virginia) Marker, Wonetta Haggerty and Arlene Shaffer; and sister-in- law, Barbara Marker.
Earl enjoyed a career as a high school science and biology teacher.
In retirement he found ballroom dancing and golf as his passions.
He was a member of the Hopwood AMVETS and Duck Hollow Golf Club.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 3, where visitation continues from 10 until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, with Pastor David Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
