Robert Radosevich

Smithfield
Robert “Moe” Radosevich, 74, of Smithfield, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Moe was born September 27, 1950, in Uniontown, to John Radosevich and Margaret McLosh Radosevich.
Moe graduated from German Township High School in 1968 and attended California University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a degree in chemistry and biology.
He ultimately joined the coal industry working as a foreman for over 30 years in various coal mines. During the last 8 years of his work in the coal industry he became a special investigator for the Mine Safety and Health Administration, a job he thoroughly loved. He made many friends over all of those years of “digging it”.
Moe was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family more than anything in this world and always made them and their needs his top priority. He was always found cheering his grandchildren on from the sidelines of any sport they played. He was and will always be their #1 Fan.
Known for his kindness, wit and a sense of humor that always put a smile on your face, Moe made friends easily and had many. All who met him, liked him – it was impossible not to. His absence will be felt by so many.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Jennifer (Bill) Hostetler, and Rob (Jenn) Radosevich; his loving grandchildren, Brandon (Emili) Radosevich, Dylan Radosevich, Alex Hostetler and Zofia Radosevich; his loving great-grandchildren, Bryson Radosevich and Madelyn Radosevich; brother, John “Lefty” Radosevich; sister, Peggy Ansel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steven Radosevich; and sister, Mary Ann Patsko.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Gail Lehman Radosevich. The family takes comfort in knowing they are reunited in Heaven, a day of pure joy for both.
Closing thought: Sometimes you have to close down all thoughts, become Comfortably Numb, jump in that GTO and cruise on up to Heaven! See you all there! ~ Moe.
The family will receive friends and family from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 7, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, where visitation continues from 9 to 10 a.m., the time of a funeral service, Saturday, February 8, with Pastor Chuck McLaughlin officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield.
