Joyce Penn Novak, age 89, of Penncraft passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Monday, February 10, 2025.
She was born on December 16, 1935 in Herbert, PA a daughter of the late Viola Adams and Robert Penn.
Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Lee Novak; brothers, Robert “Joby”, James, Herb; and sister, Lois.
She is survived by her brother, Ronnie Penn of Ohio; son, Robert and Donna Novak of Penncraft; daughter, Lorre and Harold Branstrom of Connecticut; son, Michael and Lisa Novak of Arizona; three grandchildren, Christine Furlong of Penncraft, Janelle and Carley Branstrom of Connecticut; great-grandchild, Hunter Furlong; and dear friend, Victoria Wellington.
Special thanks to Patricia at the Area Agency on Aging and all in the office who were very helpful to the family. Also, a very special thank you to our angels that cared for her: Katheryn, Shelby and Cyndi. Special thank you to Nurse Vicki and her aide Desirae of Amedysis Hospice of Masontown and all there for their care and support during Joyce’s journey home to the Lord.
