Sally David Shanefelter

Sally David Shanefelter, 84, of New Salem, formerly of Turner, Mont., passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, in her home. She was born at home in Georges Township November 27, 1940, a daughter of the late Goldie D. McCann David and Emil Ewart David, Sr.
While residing in Montana, Sally was an avid trapper. She also enjoyed crocheting and working at the nursery. Sally loved going to Bingo with her sister, Alice.
Besides her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Shanefelter; sister, Alice Yanik; brothers, Emil David, Melvin David, Donald David, Butch David, William McCann, Larry McCann and Donald McCann, and infant brother, John David.
She is survived by her son, William Robbins; daughter, Carla Robbins and husband Chris Griglack; grandchildren, Teffani Robbins, Ashley Raymond, Samantha Robbins, Cassie Sutton, Bethany Robbins, and Tiana A. Griglack; six great-grandchildren; along with her brothers, Robert (Cheryl) David, Terry David, Bill David, and Benjamin David; and sisters, Mary Jordan and Donna David.
As per Sally’s wishes, services will be private and in the care of DEARTH FUNERAL HOME.
