Janet Louise Cole, 80, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, in her home.
She was born August 4, 1944, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Concovia Malenosky.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her daughter, Violet Seper; her grandchildren, Mary Catherine Mancini and Mark Mancini Jr.; brothers, William Malenosky and Leonard Malenosky; and her sister, Sylvia Martin.
Janet is survived by her husband, Ronald Ray Cole; daughter, Cynthia Spaw Mancini and fiance Donald Fisch of Connellsville; grandchildren, Brian Angelo Burkholder, Jena Mancini, Julia Mancini, Christopher Whitteman, John Seper, Frank Seper, and Misty Seper; and great- grandchildren, Audrey Vannosdela, Mickey Livingston, Mark Mancini, Jacob Show, Giovanna Show, Acelynn McFadden, Liam Burkholder, Valentina Mancini, Ava Gors, and Luna Reign Gaines; brother, Frank Malenosky of Ronco; and her brother-in-law, John Seper.
Janet was a member of St. Mary’s Nativity Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
In her younger years, Janet loved all sports and was an avid hunter and fisher; she shot an 8-point buck. She also loved her garden. She enjoyed cooking, spending quality time with the family, and playing cards and dice.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 27, in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, where additional visitation will be held from 11 until prayers of transfer at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 28, followed by a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Nativity R.C. Church.
Interment will follow in Mount Marcina Cemetery.
