David W. Teets Sr., 65, of Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in his home, with his loving family by his side.
He was born July 21, 1959, a son of the late David L. and June Moore Teets.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremiah Pletcher Jr.; brothers, Wendell Teets and Melvin (Sally) Teets; special relatives, Albert Teets and Robert Brown; and loving girlfriend, Donna Reed.
David is survived by his children, David W. Teets Jr. of Uniontown, Eric Teets (Sis) of Waltersburg, Chris Teets of Uniontown, Tawnya Trainor (Allen) of Hopwood, Candis Trump (Gary) of Adah, Christopher Manchas (Ashley) of Dunbar, Julie Reed (Ron) of Layton, and Alison Valentine (Robert) of Uniontown; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Brian Teets (Mary), and Mike Teets (Kim) of Fairchance; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Nolan Maust and Ron Shaffer.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was a loving father and grandfather.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Amedysis Hospice for taking care of David.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 28. Additional visitation will be held from 10 until the 11 a.m. hour of the funeral service Saturday, March 1, with Pastor Kenneth Jones officiating. Interment will be held in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
