Rodney Lee Bell

Rodney Lee Bell, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 9, 2025. He was born April 16, 1967.
A 1986 graduate of Brownsville High School, Rodney was an accomplished athlete in football, basketball, and track-and-field for which he won numerous awards.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Alfonzo Wilson and Lucille Bell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Cody Lee Straitiff and Darius Straitiff, both of Uniontown; two grandchildren, Kayson and Salem; siblings: Samuel Ray (Julia) Wilson and Dara Denise (Eric) Wilbert, all of Colorado; Sandy Wilson of Republic; and Stephen Wilson of Connecticut; three nephews, Deshaun Jackson, Tavares Wilson, Len Michaux; three nieces, Lindy McCrae, Lucinda Wilson-Lee, Sumer Wilbert; his godson, Geoffrey G. Douglas; his much loved cousin, Tina Biddings; special friend, Devon Straitiff, whom he loved like a son; in addition to a host of cousins and friends.
Rodney was dearly loved and he will be greatly missed. We cherish the memories.
A memorial service will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 8, in The Meeting Place, 5 E. Main Street, New Salem, PA 15468. Repass to follow.
