Viliame “Vili” Boladau, 47, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, in Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born November 24, 1977, in Suva Fiji, to Ratufereimi Boladau and Taina Marama.
Vili graduated from Marist Brothers High School in 1996 in Suva. He was employed for over nine years in the oil and gas industry and working for Profrac and Nextier; he was currently employed with Calfrac as an equipment operator.
Vili was a devoted husband and a father, and he loved his family and friends dearly. He was a big-hearted family man, whose home was full of love; he welcomed anyone to his home. He loved to sing, mostly solo, and enjoyed playing rugby. Vili was funny and liked to crack jokes. He was the life of the party and was known for proudly and loudly saying his favorite word, Suvaaaa!!!!!
Vili will be forever remembered by his wife, Sera; children, Elizabeth, Ratufereimi, and Tina; mother-in-law, Varanisese Toroca; sisters-in- law, Tina (Wise) Puamau and Makosoi (Josua) Soata; brother-in-law, Maciu (Inise) Wong; his family in Fiji; his Uniontown Fijian Community; and the Calfrac Well Services family.
Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, in the Asbury United Methodist Church, 20 Dunbar Street, Uniontown. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
