Dolores Buchko also known as “Aunt Dee”, of Uniontown, passed away with her lovely family by her side after battling cancer.
She was born in Uniontown, daughter of the late Michael Buchko and Agnes Terescik Buchko.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Myers and brother, Michael Buchko.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.
Dolores lived in Uniontown her entire life and was known for her likable personality. Dolores was kind and caring with everyone.
She is survived by her sisters: Barbara Buchko of Uniontown, Patricia Buchko of Uniontown, Ida Buchko Morganosky of Uniontown, Carol Buchko Hughes and husband, Don of Coraopolis; and Joan Jansen and her late husband, Bill of Baltimore, Md. Also surviving is her long time companion, Edward Bilek of Uniontown. Dolores enjoyed spending time with his family. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she cherished. She always enjoyed family get togethers.
We would like to thank Bella Health Care and Amedisys Hospice for the loving care they gave Dolores. We want to thank all those for their many acts of kindness, cards, gifts and numerous calls.
Friends will be received in the TERRAVECCHIA-HAKY HOME FOR FUNERALS, INC., 515 N. Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461, from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday June 25. Parastas will be celebrated at 4 p.m., in the funeral home. Panachida prayers will be said at 10 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church, Uniontown, with Father Kyprian Wojciechowski as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood.
