Frankie Lee Paul
formerly of Point Marion
Frankie Lee Paul, 77, of Salem, Va., formerly of Point Marion, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2025, following a lengthy illness. He was born December 16, 1947, in Indiana, a son of the late Rosemary Paul Downey.
A 1965 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, Frankie honorably served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, receiving the Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star.
He was a retired machinist having worked with precious metals and gemstones in the jewelry industry.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia; three children, Mitchell Paul, Loretta Paul, and Laurel Jones; and two grandchildren, Rosalea Jones and Rae Hyman, all of Salem, Va.; as well as and numerous cousins and friends in the Point Marion area.
Friends are invited to join with his family for graveside services Thursday, July 3, at 2 p.m., in the Little Arlington Section of Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Pastor Kathy Griffith will officiate, and Military Honors will be accorded by the Point Marion Veterans Posts.
Arrangements are in the care of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion.
