Debra Braddee Handlin, 73, of Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
She was born March 30, 1951, in Uniontown, to her parents, Percy and Sara Dillow Braddee.
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Brenda Braddee-Roycroft.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Gene Handlin; sister, Joyce and Len Skoglund; brother, Alton “Pete” and Lana Braddee; brother-in-law, Gary Roycroft; brother-in-law, John and Theresa Handlin; sister-in-law, Misty and Rick Hajek; aunt, Linda McCoy; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Debra was employed for many years with NIOSH in Morgantown, W.Va. until her retirement.
The family will receive friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7. The Funeral Service begins at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield.
