George R. “Bob” Handlin, 82, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Friday, March 7, 2025.
He was born May 9, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, a son of the late Charles and Anna Theis Handlin.
Bob had been a life member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club and was a former Trustee. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was very proud of the special and personal hot sauces he loved making.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lynda J. Rozgony Handlin, four children: Steven Handlin (Monica) of New Hampshire, Dayna Ritz (Robert) of Indiana, Chuck Campbell (Wendy) and Justin Handlin (Helen), both of Uniontown; five grandchildren, Stephen and Jacob Campbell, Brielle Ritz, and Addison and Isaac Handlin; great-granddaughter, Wrenley Campbell; brother, Ted Handlin of Virginia Beach, VA, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday the hour of service in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA . Interment will be private.
