Lois Amber Baker Jordan Wingard, 100, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 11, 2025. She was born December 26, 1924, in Saltsburg.
Preceding her in death were her parents, William Henry Baker and Margaret Ellen Bair Baker; her first husband, Edward Raymond Jordan; second husband, Ralph D. Wingard, Sr.; son, Kenneth Eugene Jordan; daughter, Patricia Ann Gibson; sister, Margaret Mego; and brothers, William E. Baker and Eugene Baker. Lois was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Lois was a member of the Uniontown Central Christian Church, and served as a volunteer at the Uniontown Hospital for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Sandra L. Ritchie, and Raymond Edward Jordan (Donna) of Uniontown, and Tammie Louise Kirkwood of Smithfield; 11 grandchildren, Scott, William, James, Jeannie, Christi, Robert, Heath, Brian, Philip, Jason and Keith, along with many great- grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, where visitation continues until the 11 a.m. hour of service Friday, March 14, with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
