Joan Kathleen Tarr, 92, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday October 30, 2025, in her home.
She was born May 6, 1933, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Catherine Bair Lucas.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas (Dorothy) Lucas; and granddaughter, Kellie Jo Tarr.
Joan is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Burton Tarr; children, Bonnie (Bill) Cox of Maryland, Kathy (Ralph) Fazenbaker of Lemont Furnace, Jackie Tarr (Tito) of Ohio, Burton (Kristy) Tarr of Florida, and David (Tracy) Tarr of Lemont Furnace; nine grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood. Services were held privately for the family, with interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
