Lemont Furnace

Mr. Gerald S. “Jerry” Yuhaniak, Sr., 80, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, in his home.

He was born January 22, 1945, in Lemont Furnace, to the late Stephen S. and Ann Punday Yuhaniak.

Jerry was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War era.

He was a member of VFW Post 8543 and the North Union Fire Department Station 44. He was a former member of the American Legion Post 51 and AMVETS Post 103.

Jerry’s wishes were to have a burial at sea with the United States Navy.

Arrangements are under the direction of the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401.
