Bonnie Jean Morgan, 80, loving wife and mother, passed away suddenly, in her home, Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Bonnie is survived by her children: James W. Fisher of Los Angeles, Calif.; Sherry L. Fisher of Gainesville, Fla.; and Dawna M. Fisher of Pittsburgh.

She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Susan Previsky; nieces, Renee Heckler (Bill) and Lori Morgan Grootwassink (Dave); nephews, Brian Previsky (Susan), Russell Morgan (Amy) and James Morgan III; and many dear friends. She will especially be missed by her treasured pup, Bella J., who was always by her side.

Bonnie wa preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Terry B. Morgan; daughter, Kimberly R. Morgan; parents, Evelyn and Michael Previsky; and brothers, Harry “Butch” Previsky and Michael Previsky.

Bonnie was born in Charleroi and was a graduate of Charleroi High School.

For over 10 years, Bonnie enjoyed working as an independent affiliate of Home Interiors & Gifts, but she always viewed being a mother as her most important job. Her children were her greatest joy. Even later in life, Bonnie was very actively involved in the daily lives of her children.

Bonnie’s many interests included cooking and baking (her famous nut rolls), bargain hunting, gardening, building puzzles, playing cards, and listening to podcasts. She enjoyed travel to places including New York City, Hawaii, Canada, Italy, the Bahamas, and loved shopping, dining out and supporting Long Branch Community Grange events. Bonnie enjoyed watching her shows: Matlock, Chicago Fire, Storage Wars, and was a devoted watcher of General Hospital since its premier in 1963.

Bonnie will be sadly missed by her loving family, who are comforted knowing she is reunited with her husband, Terry, who also passed away in January of last year; and her daughter, Kimberly, who passed nine years ago.

Visitation for friends and family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, with the Rev. Amory Merriman officiating, followed by interment in Howe Cemetery, Long Branch.
