Virginia H. “Ginny” Quarrick, 95, of Republic, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026.
She was born on October 7th, 1930 in Gallitan, PA (Allegheny County) a daughter of the late Walter Albert and Thelma L. Phillabaum Roberts
Ginny was a member of the former Holy Rosary R.C. Church of Republic, where she participated in all of the church’s activities such as The Street Fair and making pierogies.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Ginny was a well known and respected caregiver for many many people and families. She retired at the age of 83.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Joseph V. Quarrick and also by her sister, Florence and a brother, Walter Lee.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ginny is survived by her three children: Joseph Quarrick and his wife Cindy, Walter Quarrick and his wife Leah Lois Hamlett; five grandchildren: Joe Quarrick and his wife Shannon; Albert Quarrick and his wife Emily; Autumn Cherban; Lisa Wilson and her husband Miguel; and Phillip Hamlett and his wife Kelly; sister-in-law: Sally Roberts and her family. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Close family friend and caregiver: Patty Frantz.

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA on Friday, March 6th from 2 to 6 p.m.. A Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. with Hospice Chaplain Pastor Henry Frain officiating.
