Charles Andrew "Drew" Yarris, age 30, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on August 23, 2019. He was born on December 3, 1988, in Uniontown, PA to Brad and Denise (Pechatsko) Yarris.

He was employed as Lead Technician of Mark's Cleaning Service, Medina, for approximately four years and was proud of what he did.

Drew enjoyed free style drawing, disc golf, fishing and his cat (Juno). He loved listening to music and watching movies. His friends were a constant source of joy to him.

Drew served in the US Navy on both the USS Nimitz and USS Ronald Reagan as an Aircraft Handling Airman/Aviation Boatswain's Mate. While serving on the USS Ronald Reagan, he was deployed with his fellow crewmates to Japan in support of humanitarian aid to tsunami victims and Fukashima nuclear reactor containment assistance, circa March and April 2011. Medals he was authorized to wear were the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

Drew will be dearly missed by his parents, Brad and Denise; grandparents, Charles and Mary Louise Yarris; brother, Justin; aunts and uncles, Charles (Louisa) Yarris, Mark (Tammy) Yarris, Jerome (Mary Jo) Yarris, Clarissa (Lou) Nagy, Kevin (Min) Yarris, Marie (Jerry) Shallo, Kathleen Stephens, Richard (Bev) Pechatsko, Diane (Chuck) Hernansky, Timothy Pechatsko, Michael Pechatsko, Joann (Don) Verney, Annie (Jim) Kirkpatrick, Nickoleen (Billy) Sellong, Stephanie (Tom) Maher, and Victoria (Lou) Amandola.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Katherine Pechatsko; uncles, Vincent Yarris, Tom Stephens, Paul Pechatsko; and aunt, Cindy Pechatsko.

Friends may join the family for Visitation on Friday, August 30, 2019, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM with a Memorial Service at 6:00PM at CARLSON FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. Interment will take place at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, in Uniontown, PA on Friday, September 6, 2019.
