Helen Maxine Mullen, 93, passed away peacefully Monday, December 2, 2019, in Overlook Green Nursing Facility, Pittsburgh, with her loving family by her side. She was born February 26, 1926, in Kansas City, Kans., a daughter of Max and Helen (Miller) Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Lee Mullen; daughter Robin Lee Harding; grandson John Harding Jr.; and sister Linda Willet. She is survived by her son, Steve (Carol) Mullen; daughter Tracie (Gerald) Sabatine; son-in-law John Harding; eight grandchildren Cary Pascoe, Carla Williams, Allison (Aaron) Thompson, Adrienne (David) Milsom, Gerad (Emily) Sabatine, Leanne (Brian) Falce, Brian (Meryl) Mullen and Brad (Beth) Mullen; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was a former board member of the Uniontown Public Library, as well as a volunteer for Goodwill, Uniontown Hospital, Third Presbyterian Church sewing group and Service League and was a member of the Uniontown Art Club. She was an incredible artist who spent countless hours painting, drawing, sewing and crafting numerous pieces over her lifetime. She loved spending time with her family, friends and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Heartfelt gratitude to Overlook Green Senior Living and the staff of Bridge to Rediscovery for their compassionate care and dedication. Viewing will be held 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, in STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, where a funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, December 5. Entombment to follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Mausoleum.
