James J. Belice Jr.

James J. Belice Jr., 72 of Malden, Pa., passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

He was born April 18, 1946 in Latrobe, Pa., to James J. and Frances (Ukish) Belice of Saltsburg, Pa.

James was a 1964 graduate of Saltsburg High School, received his Master's degree through Penn State University and retired after 35 years of teaching from the Southmoreland School District.

Jim was a Representative for Tenpoint Crossbows.

He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman.

He loved spending time with family, being with his buddies, staying at camp and fishing with his grandson, James, and granddaughter, Hannah.

He worshipped at Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa.

He was a member of many local clubs and also a member of the Turkeyfoot Fish & Game in Confluence, Pa.

On August 24, 1968, he married Linda (Paci) Belice, who survives.

Also surviving are his sister, Florence Marafka (Tom) of Nowrytown, Pa.; three children: Andrew Belice (Tammy) of Dillon, Montana, Shawn Belice (Bethany) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Tiffany Belice of Clearwater, Florida; and the proud grandfather of grandsons, James and Liam, granddaughters, Lexie, Brianna, Hannah, Madison and Halle.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Barbara Belice

Friends will be received on Sunday, September 30, from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., where Prayers will be said on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 300 Shaffner Avenue, Brownsville, PA 15417.
