Janet M. Virgin, 81, of Confluence, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Rest Assured Residential Living Center, in Meyersdale.

She was born March 18, 1938 in Brownsville, a daughter of Harry and Wilhelmina (Chappeaux) Williams. Her parents, husband, George and grandson, Corey Nathan Virgin preceded her in death. She is survived by sons, Jeffrey David, Jon Lance, Jan Eric and Jorge Christopher; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, Emma Mae Peay; brothers, Larry, Richard and Bud Williams; and a sister, Kay Kovach.

She was a former school board director for Turkeyfoot Valley School District and was employed for 17 years as a receptionist for Dr. Frederick R. Smith in Confluence. Jan was a kind and sweet lady who will be sorely missed by her sons, grandchildren, siblings and friends.
