Larry Emmett Bevens Sr., 70, of Farmington, Pa. passed away Thursday, February 15, 2019, in Westmoreland Hospital.

He was born January 10, 1949, in Clarksville, Pa., the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Bevans and Rosella (Smith) Bevans Ludwig. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother and two sisters, Buddy Bevans, Dolly Porecca and Bonnie Dubinsky.

Surviving are his loving wife Judith Ann (Hiles) Bevans. Four children, Larry Bevans Jr. (Amanda) of Scottdale, Pa. Michele McGee (Mike) of Hopwood, Stacey Snyder (Josh) of Mt. Pleasant, Pa and Jason Bevans of Farmington, Pa. Three sisters and two brothers, Nancy Shoup (Roy), Lois Hutcheson (Bob), Susan Taft , John Bevans and George Bevans. Eight grandchildren, Matthew, Zachery, Meghan, Sarah, Madison, Rosalie, Michael, Laura and Makela. Many nieces and nephews.

Larry had been employed as a truck driver, carpenter and coal miner. He attended school in Waynesburg and graduated from Brownsville High School. He was a member of Family of Faith Church in Markleysburg. He enjoyed hunting, building and long drives in the mountains.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME HOPWOOD. Tuesday 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM the hour of the service with Rev. Terry Collins and Rev. Gary Workman officiating.
