Lisa Ann (Clayton) Chancey, age 53, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. She was born on February 20, 1966 in Brownsville, PA, daughter of Charles "Chuck" and Dorothy (Kavulic) Clayton of Brownsville, PA.
Lisa graduated from Brownsville Area High School Class of 1984 and was a member of the Falcon High School Marching Band. In high school, she received the Rotary Student of The Month Award and through Rotary International, Lisa and her family hosted a foreign exchange student. Lisa graduated from Southern Illinois University and also Duquesne University. Member of The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA.
She was a case worker in the human resources department with Fayette County. Lisa was a Veteran of Desert Storm, serving with The United States Air Force as an Electronic Cryptographic Communications Equipment Specialist. She was stationed in England for all of her Military Career. She received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, NCO PME Graduate Ribbon, BMT Honor Graduate Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, AF Training Ribbon, AF Longevity Service Medal, and The AF Outstanding Unit Award.
Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter: Kaitlyn Lane Chancey; paternal grandparents: Ed and Vera Clayton; maternal grandparents: John and Margaret Kavulic; special aunt: Ann Dzurik.
She is survived by her parents with whom she resided: Chuck and Dorothy Clayton; her grandson: Easton Grey Stroup; her brother: Raymond A. (Rita) Clayton; uncle: Edward (Brenda) Kavulic and their children.
Visitation and Funeral Services are Private for her immediate family only. Arrangements are under the direction of THE SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME.
