Sarah K. Walters Bartuch, 87, of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born March 1, 1932, in Smithfield, a daughter of the late Henry Walters and Lillian Hellen Walters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bartuch; brother James Walters; and sisters Karen Raines, Alice Bowers and Nancy Baker.

Sarah was a 1950 graduate of German Township High School. She was a member of the Masontown United Methodist Church. She bowled in the Klondike Lanes Bowling League for many years. Sarah was an Albert Gallatin School Board director.

Left to cherish Sarah's memory are her sons, Frank Bartuch and Greg Bartuch and wife Janie of Masontown; daughter Gina Barrett and husband Brad Cumberledge of Morgantown, W.Va.; grandchildren Gregory Bartuch, Jennifer Skocik and husband Mark, Jessica Karl and husband Tim, and Megan Barrett; great-grandchildren Lindsey and Rowan; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the FERGUSON-BROWNFIELD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 78 Main Street, Smithfield, where family and friends will be received from 2 until the 5 p.m. hour of service Saturday, June 15, with Pastor Mark Blair officiating. Interment will be private.

The family extends a sincere thank you to the staff at Uniontown Hospital and Mount Saint Macrina for their compassionate care of Sarah.
