Sue Delligatti Merryman

Uniontown

Sue Delligatti Merryman of Uniontown, passed away June 12, 2019.

Sue was born August 16, 1929, in Tower Hill #1. She was a daughter of Stefano and Marianna Delligatti.

In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert M. Merryman, six brothers and two sisters and a great-granddaughter, Norah Claire Guerke

Sue graduated from Uniontown High School in the Class of 1947. She was a cheerleader and was very active with the Class Reunion Planning Committees. She was a past president and member of the Altar Society of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church. She also served in the Ministry of Consolation and the Parish Wake Services. Sue worked at Rockwell International, now known as Sensus Technologies, for 14 years.

Left to cherish Sue's memory are four sons and one daughter, Thomas Merryman and wife Joanne, Edward Merryman and wife Karen, David Merryman and wife Reesa, Jeffrey Merryman and wife Paula and Cynthia Over and husband Rick; six grandchildren, Julie Gerlach and husband Jeffrey, Luke Merryman, Adrienne Guerke and husband Hank, Maria Merryman, Michael Merryman and Ashley Watterson and husband Ryan; five great-grandchildren Timothy Gerlach, Christopher Gerlach, Addison Guerke, Sydney Guerke and Hunter Merryman; a sister Lucille Cole; and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday June 16, in THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown. Guests are asked to meet at 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, in St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill Street, Uniontown, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.

A parish wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, followed by the St. Therese Altar Society Rosary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arron Matthew SIDS Research Guild of Seattle Children's Hospital in memory of Sue's great- granddaughter, Norah Claire Guerke.
