New Salem

William "Bill" Miller, a loving father, husband, son, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at the age of 48.

Bill was born April 1, 1971. The 1989 Uniontown High School graduate went on to work as an electrical estimator / project manager for many years.

He was a dedicated and devoted father, husband, son and grandfather, who enjoyed every moment spent with his family and friends.

Bill was proud to be a part of the brotherhood of The New Salem Volunteer Fire Department. He was a beloved friend to many in his life and could always be relied on for a smile and a helping hand.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William J. Miller.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan; his mother and father by love, Goldie (Rusty) and Harold Robinson; wife Cathy and her two children and their spouses, Jessica (Dakota) and Caleb (Ashley); grandchildren Caden, Forest, Abram, Bryson, Silas and Raelyn; brother Chris (Tonya); nephew and niece Carter and Paige; grandmother Delores; special aunt Lana. He was loved by many other family and close friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and a celebration honoring his life at the Firemen's Woods in New Salem this Saturday, August 10, beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.
