Census brings changes
Disabled need choices As a middle age woman with cerebral palsy it is getting much more difficult doing for myself. For instance, getting in and out of bed, also taking a shower, has been an increasingly difficult task.
I know the day is coming that I will need more care. The disabled community has been to Washington D.C. trying to get legislation passed since June 1997 when it was introduced by Newt Gingrich. The legislation would give persons with disabilities the choice to live in the community and be active within that community.
Persons with disabilities have a lot to offer the community. Give persons with a disability choice.
Contact your legislators and tell them to support S1298 and HR 3612.
