A friend indeed
Where’s respect? Dear Editor:
It’s amazing, how some of our generation shows no respect to us, the citizens, elders. If it wasn’t for our being up with manners such as excuse me and thank you and consideration for one another’s feelings, part of our world would just fall apart.
There is so much corruption in today’s society we don’t even feel free to speak to our neighbors. Even when someone is hurt we seem to just ignore them as though they’re just a piece of dirt on the ground.
Caring and enjoying your profession of work is what consideration is all about. If we didn’t worry so much about our neighbor with what they do and what they have, this would be a rich life. To me jealousy is the root of all evil. But then there are times we must step in and correct situations to protect our loved ones and neighbors from harm. Having a rich life is so much more rewarding than all the money in the world.
Children want so much but there must be a line drawn.
There is abuse today and sometimes abuse is held over heads to get what they want. You don’t see children helping around the house such as yard work, picking up their room, showing how much they appreciate us for feeding, clothing, keeping them warm and caring for them when they are sick, instead of sitting at the computer and sitting at the TV all the time and being demanding.
