Let grandpa smoke his joint Shame on Vicites

Dear Editor:

The Fayette County Election Board met recently to hear a complaint against a personal friend of the chairman of the board, Vincent Vicites.

Even though Mr. Vicites, back in April, said he would recuse himself if the matter came before the election board, he did not do this.

Mr. Vicites, at two different commissioner meetings, stated that Mr. Malaspina was a good friend of his and he believed that the man made a “mistake.” He stated this before he even saw the evidence.

How in good conscience could Mr. Vicites morally and ethically sit on the board and hear the case? He had decided the case back in March when the issue first came up.

Mr. Vicites, how do you look in a mirror? Shame on you.
