W.Va. is making progress

Hidden fees It seems that a committee was formed in the state legislature of Clownsburg, formerly Harrisburg, to authorize the PUC to add a fee to the monthly bills of gas and electric customers. I don’t know why, unless these utilities give money to the members of this committee for their re-elections.

I contacted the PUC and was politely told that adding those fees was perfectly legal and if I wanted to appeal their ruling I had to go through the Pennsylvania appellate court.

It would behoove all of your subscribers who are users of gas or electric to check the inside page of their bills, then contact their state representatives to check into the legality of this farce.

Now they are in the lame duck session but anyone with an ounce of brains knows that they have been in a lame duck session for the last two years.

I’ll tell you one thing, if the Army was as slow to act as those clowns in Clownsburg, I would still be on Iwo Jima waiting to come home, and I left that rock on Dec. 10, 1945.
