Marching foolishly into war
Placed life in jeopardy I am writing you this letter in reference to your news article printed Thursday, Aug. 29, referencing “Uniontown man seeks deal for working with attorney general.” I am the sister of James S. Thompson.
In reading the article I find it very impulsive that the attorney general and the police department just give up people’s names who are assisting them to the public.
My brother’s life has been placed in jeopardy and these people were only concerned in making a name for themselves and gaining power in the legal/law position.
District Attorney Nancy D. Vernon and Detective Phillip Jones are people who make the law enforcement look bad and I mean very bad.
They use people for their own gain and power and this is the main reason why citizens do not assist law enforcement to catch criminals.
They have done a great injustice towards my brother and my family.
They have endangered his life and have caused a lot of pain to my family. My brother was jumped inside the jail where he is housed. At this particular time, I am not proud of the law.
